Yes. When you enroll you will be sent pre-work to complete prior to the course - don't worry, this won't take long. Whilst not essential, some pre-work asks you to bring selected financial information to the course. All information is treated with strict confidence, and you don’t have to reveal any more to anyone than you want to. During the course, we won’t work on your specific financials. Instead, we will use a case study to learn the process. In the evening hours, after the course, there will be optional time for you to dive in to your specific numbers and make your plan for moving forward. If you are starting from scratch or getting ready to make a complete shift in your enterprise mix, then bringing past financial data is a waste of time. We will build the plan based on educated guesses looking forward. If you are looking to make changes to what you are currently doing, then having some summary of financial data will be helpful. Do not bring reams of paper showing all the business transactions from the past 3 years! The following will give you an idea of the types of financial data that will be helpful: • Inventory of livestock/crops • Estimates of livestock/cropping performance (weaning rate, gains, breeding rates etc.) • Feed usage and costs • Vet costs • Equipment inventory value • Total utilities, insurance, professional fees etc. • Total fuel, fertiliser, pesticide, seeding expenses etc In addition to your completed pre-work, please wear comfortable clothes including a light jacket or jumper. (We like keep the classroom cool.) We provide everyone with a workbook, paper, stationary, calculators and everything else you need to get stuck in!

Yes. It’s an intensive, immersive course and we cover a lot. Each day builds and we spend some morning time reviewing what we learned from the day before. It’s also important terms of the network. You’ll build a network of trusted advisers.

Whilst you may live very close to the venue, we recommend that you stay. The evenings are about networking and sharing with your fellow attendees. This is often where the magic happens.

This 5-day course is the gateway to Executive Link - a programme for alumni which provides accountability, structure & support to really make the changes you need. Executive Link members are grouped with similar business minded farmers and work as a board alongside 5 or 6 other farming businesses over three years. Cancellation & course transfer policy: We have a flexible cancellation policy where your payment can be used to book another Planning for Profit course within 13 months of the original booking as long as you notify Planning for Profit 14 days prior to the start of the course. This includes you or anyone from your business with your consent. If, during the 13-month transfer period, the booking fee increases before you re-book onto the course, you will be invoiced for the difference between what you paid and the new booking fee. Retained funds can only be applied to courses hosted by Planning for Profit. Courses hosted by partnering entities are not eligible for use of retained funds. If you cancel your course attendance 14 days or less from the start of the course the total booking payment are forfeited. 20% of the booking payment is non-refundable at the time of booking. If someone attending the course is dissatisfied with the value, they can receive a full refund. To receive the refund they must: 1. Make the request within 6 days after the last day of the course. 2.
